«Zero
food waste» project
Introduction
•
As a seminar for Teacher, Summer Academy combines educational
material with real practices to provide critico-creative teaching
and education.
•
«Zero
food waste» program combines the Summer Academy’s food supply
part (coffee breaks, lunch, gala, local restaurants e.t.c.) with
the principle of sustainability education of reducing food waste
(UNESCO’s «Agenda 2030»). Main aim is to provide a seminar (Summer
Academy 2017) and make no food waste in the frame of a sustainable
type of seminars.
Method
•
Training
community (trainers, trainees, organizational committees, participants
e.t.c.) will experience a holistic approach of food management
starting from buying supplies from stores and ending to the management
of waste and possible surplus. This procedure will focus to a
proper planning that predicts food needs and ways to reclaim whatever
stays unconsumed.
Expected
results
•
Give
substance to an experiential way to the wishes and rules that
we all know for a better sustainable world during food and related
material management.
•
Produce
educational material (images, texts, videos, e.t.c.) for teachers
that will organize related school activities.
•
Explore
the possibilities and difficulties related to technical and cultural
reasons an sujest solutions and advantages.
•
A more
completed and holistic approach to educational and training activities
based on the main characteristic of Education to enforce society’s
awareness, hope and critical ideas generating.
